#85 - Two-Handed Casts with a Single-Handed Rod

Date/Time: Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon
Instructor: Carl Zarelli
Description: Most people think Spey casting is for two-handed rods. This is not true. In fact, if you haven’t tried Spey casting with a single-handed rod, you are missing out on something special! Learn the subtle techniques and casts required for tight spaces where overhead casting is not an option. This type of casting will also keep the wear and tear on your body to a minimum, allowing you to spend more time on the water. This casting class will be held on water. This class is open to all levels including advanced to beginners.
Equipment: Medium or fast-action rod with a weight-forward floating line with an 8-foot or 9-foot leader. Since this is an on-the-water workshop, bring waders if you need to; however, deep wading is not required.
Skill Level: All
Class Limits: 8

Member fee: $40
